おはようございます。
レジュメに何点か間違いがあったので訂正します。
レジュメ二枚目の4. Communicative evolution between camellias and weevils のところの上から二行目に、lay the seed right next to the seed　とありますが、これは lay the eggs right next to the seeds の間違いです。
二つ目に、単語リストでCurcullio camelliaeを「ツバキゾウムシ」と書いていましたが、正しくは「ツバキシギゾウムシ」です。よろしくお願いします。

また、単語リストを増やしましたので、そちらも添付させていただきます。

追加分の単語リストは、プレゼン会で配りますので、コピーの必要はありません。

1. Introduction
On the essentiality of enemies in the development of species.

2. About the evolutionary arms race in nature
Evolutionary arms race: an evolutionary struggle between competing sets of co-evolving genes that develop adaptation and counter-adaptations against each other. The co-evolving gene sets may be in different species, as in an evolutionary arms race between a predator species and its prey, or a parasite and its host.

3. Interesting insect－weevils－
Weevil: Beetles that size from a few millimeters to a few centimeters. They are also called “elephant beetles” because they look like elephants.

Among weevils, there are species that have amazingly long snouts that they use like a drill to create holes in fruits and nuts.

4. Commutative evolution between camellias and weevils
Curculio camelliae lays its eggs deep inside the fruits of Camellia japonica. In order to lay the eggs right next to the seed, they need long snouts. To satisfy this need, the evolution causes their snouts to keep lengthening. Likewise, Camellias also keep developing their rinds thickness to protect themselves from weevils.

5. Conclusion
On the seeming endlessness of the evolutionary arms race.

ただ、一度出した資料は、基本的に修正はなしでね。逆に言うと、後で手直ししないで良いような仕事をしましょう。

お医者さんが、手術が終わった後に「あ、やっぱりあそこもうちょっと切っておくね」って言ってメスで切開したりしないでしょ？それと一緒です。

プレゼン会ぐらいの規模だとまだ何とかなるんですが、合宿で10以上プレゼンがあるときに、各チームが修正合戦をやっちゃうと、収拾がつかなくなるんですよ。

次回はぜひ「どうだ！」という出来の物を披露してください！
